Pssss.....Midwest got next in the wonderful world of Hip-Hop.?

Now this is STRICTLY for my Hip-Hop fans, non fans need not respond, this DOES NOT pertain to you. Even though we have had many artist shine from our region, it's not as well known as your Down South, West Side and East Coast Hip-Hop stars. I've started a movement here in Cincinnati, inviting all aspiring artists from R%26amp;B/Hip-Hop/Rap to network and come together to contract a new Midwest sound and put the Midwest on the map as it should be. What are your thoughts on Midwest Hip-Hop, or Midwest music as a whole?

According to a lot of artists and record lablels the midwest is the next big thing for hip hop. unfortunately when they reference the midwest they specifically talk about chicago being the next big place for artists. im not a big mainstream hip hop fan but i do love the underground and up-and-coming acts and the stuff going on in chicago is tight. with kanye being one of the most prominent artists in hip hp right now a lot can be done for the midwest if the people have the right connections

Sorry no talent Midwest Negroes with no talent and big loud mouths just do not become successful rappers or hip hop artist. you are living a pipe dream. now wake up hon its all east coast or west coast thats IT!!
Midwest has plenty of talent. Eminem, Bone Thugs, Lupe, Kanye, Twista, Tech N9ne, Rhymefest, Royde da 5'9, Common
I think the hip hop market is wide open still. Its rare when I get interested about Hip hop. There are so many cookie cutter acts out there. acts like Buster Rhymes, Eiminim, Ice cube, have always had alot of attitude in there tracks. And had a great way with the music. Like i said there is still alot of room for more rap stars. Just make us something we can remember!!
I think the mid-west does have a fighting chance i mean...rap wise i dunno..i dont really like rap u kno...its too mainstream...same sh1t over n over again...now if we can bring REAL hip-hop back...that, my friend, would be history that will surely put us on the map and keep us there for a while R%26amp;B is also good cuz over here in the Chi..we got jazz..and R%26amp;B and jazz go hand in hand...so if we can get people to understand not to follow the crowd...i think well be on da map...just my thoughts
