Women of Color In Hip Hop?

As A long time Hip Hop fan I've long been disturbed bythe images and attitudes directed towards women . I HAVE HAD IT WITH HIP HOP? I cant watch a video or listen to a song anymore. Dont get me wrong there are a few artist that keep it real but the majority is garbage. What do you think? Be real get 10 Points. Thank You for your time.

I really don't listen to it at all unless I'm in a vehicle with someone else who is listening to it. Even then I don't like it too much. A lot of the things they say and depict are degrading and just pointless half of the time. I'm the only person in my household who thinks this and they all judge me. i just get tired of the cursing and name calling and superficial things that don't really matter... I mean, my little 5 yr old sister parades around saying she wants a grill. I'm like what the? People think I'm weird because I don't like to listen to it but, that's their opinion.

I agree, I love listening to hip-hop but I can't stand to watch the videos.
I thinks women are responsible for their images and attitudes. Hip Hop is just a reflection of the artist reality.
Yes, the majority of hip-hop is garbage now. I don't blame the artists, it's the women. They have the choice not to present themselves in that way. Hip-hop has always been misogynistic and it doesn't seem like it's changing. Many of theses video hos need to stop making Black women bad and get a real job.
Well, i hate watching/listening to a lot of the rap music that's negative. But, artist make it cuz it sells and women portray themselves as sluts and prostitutes because it gives them exposure on television and money.........sad, isn't it? what a shame.

Some of the women feel that's the only way to provide for a child.........and some just say, i got the body so I'm a show it.
