No...it doesn't offend me (at least not all...think 50 Cent is probably the most offensive I've found).

Not offended by the genre... but the lyrics, the message it sends does leave a lot to be desired.

IMHO, there is NO bad music... only bad writers and performers.
I don't like the way they refer to women, it's always 'hoes' and 'b*tches' and I could go on. I really find it offensive, plus I don't think they are good role models. Before Hiphop became so cool, there were no street gangs in my city, now, 14 yrs-old girls get sold into prostitution networks, 15 yrs boys get shot in McD's for wearing the wrong colour....It's horrible, I'm sure hiphop played a role in that.
No hip hop is cool to listen to hey listen to this it you might like it. .....
Some hip hop offends me as im a girl and some of the music is about whores and stuff .. but some of the actually good hip hop is great .. like Kanye West .. Common .. Talib Kweli and other artists ..
