What are some good hip hop / rap songs for people who don't like rap?

I have some friends that I make mixed cd's (it used to be mixed tapes) for. I like to put new artists, things they haven't heard, and music that might push their limits a bit. Now, their real tastes are crunchy hippy folk music. I want to make them a mix of hip hop, but I don't know hip hop or rap myself. Thanks!
